*The Blind Side* star Quinton Aaron was reportedly hospitalized after suffering a fall in his home in Atlanta.

Aaron, who portrayed now-retired NFL player Michael Oher in the Best Picture-nominated film in 2009, was walking up the stairs in his apartment last week when his legs "suddenly stopped functioning" and caused him to collapse, according to TMZ.

The outlet reported that Aaron was rushed to the hospital, where his manager confirmed he is now stable. Aaron's manager told TMZ that medical professionals are continuing to do tests as they still aren't sure what caused the fall. However, Aaron is reportedly communicating with his family and his team, and his rep told the outlet that the star's family wants fans to know they appreciate the well-wishes, prayers and love they've received.

A GoFundMe page has been set up seemingly on behalf of Aaron by the Veterans Aid Network, a non-profit organization launched in January 2025. The fundraising page claims that Aaron is "on life support due to severe blood infection."

The GoFundMe page reads, "This has been sudden, frightening, and overwhelming for his loved ones. As he fights for his life, his family is facing an immense emotional and financial burden — medical expenses, living costs, and the uncertainty of how long this road to recovery may be... That's why we are asking for help. Every donation — no matter the size — will go directly toward supporting Quinton's medical needs and helping his family stay afloat during this incredibly difficult time."

As of publication, the organizer has raised over $11,000, after increasing its initial goal of $10,000 to $35,000.

Aaron's recent health scare comes after TMZ reported that he was hospitalized last February for coughing up blood and coming down with a fever. At the time, Aaron told the outlet that medics believed he was dealing with Type A flu, as well as pneumonia.

He also suffered a severe upper respiratory infection back in 2019, according to the outlet.**
