Team USA earned 13 gold medals as part of its 24-medal total. The feat put the U.S. in second place at the completion of the Milano Cortina Paralympics.
Key players who helped secure Team USA's win included Declan Farmer, Jack Wallace, Kayden Beasley and Brody Roybal, to name a few.
The United States advanced to the gold medal game after their 6-1 win over Czechia on Friday, March 13. Farmer, 28, scored three goals in that victory.

“I thought we had a really solid effort from start to finish,” said David Hoff (Bottineau, N.D.), head coach of the 2026 U.S. Paralympic Sled Hockey Team.
He added, “I liked how we stayed with what we were trying to do and I thought our team had patience and persistence, which gives us a chance to play in the game we all want to on Sunday.”
Team USA solidified their dominance in the event with their win on March 15, their sixth gold since the event was added to the Paralympics in 1994.
The sled hockey team also continued the U.S.'s winning ways over fierce rivals Canada, nabbing the win just a few weeks after the men's and women's hockey teams also beat their northern neighbors for gold at the 2026 Winter Olympics.
