Saturday Night Live paid tribute to Rob Reiner.
Less than a week after the filmmaker and his wife, Michele Reiner, were killed by their son, Nick Reiner, the late-night comedy sketch series included a nod to Rob — who hosted the third episode of SNL back in October 1975. (The show premiered earlier that month on Oct. 11.)
During the Dec. 20 episode, a tribute card appeared just before the show's goodnights segment, showing a throwback photo of Rob.
The episode, SNL's last of 2025, saw Ariana Grande serve as host and Cher perform as the musical guest. It also marked Bowen Yang's last as a cast member.
