Becca Bloom is sharing some shocking news about her beloved, internet-famous cat, Oscar. The influencer, who has been dubbed the reigning queen of RichTok by her social media followers and viewers, is known for sparking debate when it comes to her particularly extravagant lifestyle. In the past, she's broken down things like her luxurious 4:30 a.m. routine, which includes drinking bird spit and eating caviar for breakfast, as well as her self-described "controversial" relationship rules between her and her husband, David Pownall, which include directives as to who pays for what and more. Now, the influencer, whose real name is Rebecca Ma, is opening up about some of the more random and surprising things that followers might not know about her lifestyle, in a video posted to her TikTok on Dec. 16.Bloom's first surprising fact about her life is one that may have caught her most loyal followers by surprise, given how frequently her cat shows up in her videos."I started TikTok to make my cat go viral, but I'm actually secretly allergic to him," the TikToker admitted at the beginning of the video. In past posts, Bloom has opened up about the large role her cat plays in her life, including recently sharing with viewers that, each Christmas, her mother sets up a specific Christmas tree "for every pet in our household."
She also recently made a video sharing that she had had her cat, Oscar, baptized, and even wore a matching outfit to the christening. She's also shared the cat's luxurious meals in the past, which have included sushi-grade salmon sashimi, a tuna bone broth blend (made by their personal chef), a soft-boiled quail egg, salmon roe caviar (“for seasoning,” said Bloom), freeze-dried cod fish, some decorative flowers to pull the plate together and a single blueberry for Oscar to play around with when he was done eating.
Following up with some more "surprising" fun facts about the couple, Pownall shared that he and Bloom sometimes "fly to Japan to go to a fish auction," with Bloom specifying that the fish in question are koi.
"They're still fish to the birds that eat them," Pownall joked.Continuing on, the video took a more personal turn as Bloom admitted that she has "crippling anxiety and OCD.""In high school, I locked myself in the bathroom for eight hours doing math problems," she said."But she scored almost perfect in the National Math Olympiad," Pownall added.

Pownall also debunked the fact that the couple are night owls, saying that "contrary to what you might see on Becca's stories, we're actually in bed by 9 p.m. every night."Pownall also shared that he has over 150,000 unopened follow requests on his Instagram, but that he wouldn't be accepting any of them anytime soon.Lastly, the couple revealed that, when they've had a bad day, they frequently take drives through the Santa Cruz Mountains, "screaming into the forest.""Sorry, if you live in any of these places," Bloom said, sharing a list of the towns they often drive through.
Bloom married Pownall on Aug. 28 in a Lake Como wedding, which was featured in Vogue at the time.
Fans were obsessed with the lead-up to the creator's wedding, which appeared to be the perfect day online. However, at the time, the influencer told Vogue that there were a few things that didn't exactly go to plan. While Bloom told Vogue that the forecasted thunderstorms on the day of the wedding “cleared at the exact moments they needed to” — the pair said their vows outdoors set against the gorgeous Italian mountains — the rainy conditions did affect several other elements of the weekend’s celebrations, including forcing the reception to be moved indoors to a glass marquee. And finally, though Bloom said she “always dreamed of having an outdoor cake cutting with the fireworks,” the rain prompted them to tweak their plans: “Instead, me and David went out there alone and we just had the time of our lives dancing in the rain.”
