Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis joined their parents, Kate Middleton and Prince William, for Easter church services with the royal family
The outing marked the siblings’ first public appearance since Christmas
It was also a return to royal Easter tradition for the family of five, who had celebrated privately for the past two years
Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis made their Easter return, joining their parents, Prince William and Kate Middleton, for the royal family's annual holiday tradition.
The fivesome joined King Charles, Queen Camilla and other members of the royal family for the Easter Matins Service at St. George's Chapel in Windsor on Sunday, April 5.
The outing marked the first public outing for Prince George, 12, Princess Charlotte, 10, and Prince Louis, 7, since Christmas, when they joined the royal family as they attended Christmas church services at St. Mary Magdalene on the Sandringham estate.

It's also the first time Prince William, 43, Princess Kate, 44, and their kids have attended Easter with the royal family since 2023. That year, Prince Louis joined the holiday outing for the first time. Prince George and Princess Charlotte made their royal Easter debut the previous year together.
The family skipped services in 2024 shortly after Kate announced her cancer diagnosis. They also celebrated privately last year, months after the Princess of Wales shared in January 2025 that she was in remission. Then, the family spent the holiday in Norfolk at their country home, Anmer Hall, where they often travel when the kids have time off from school.

In addition to their royal traditions, Prince William and Princess Kate have previously revealed that George, Charlotte and Louis also celebrate Easter with traditional festivities like egg hunts and lots of candy.
During the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, William and Kate visited with healthcare workers via video call and shared their Easter plans.
"There will be a lot of chocolate being eaten here, don't worry!" William assured.

Kate turned to her husband with a laugh, replying, "You keep eating it!"
Despite their future royal roles — including Prince George’s path to the throne — Prince William and Princess Kate have worked to keep life as normal as possible for their children.
A source with close links to the palace previously told PEOPLE of the couple, "They are doing a very good job of gradually bringing George and his siblings into the public sphere as and when required but also in a relaxed and pretty informal way."
