International pop sensation Bad Bunny was called out by the National Institute of Anthropology and History in Mexico City after his recent visit caused a major stir.

Bad Bunny (real name: Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio) visited the famed museum on December 17, during his break from touring. He took to social media to share a picture of himself placing a hand on an ancient stone exhibit, which is strictly prohibited.

According to KCH FM, museum officials quickly warned the musician of his faux pas, and he immediately complied by removing his hand. However, the "I Like It" artist later shared the photographic proof.

"Throughout the entire tour, the presence of MNA custody personnel was ensured. When the artist placed his hand on the stele, museum custody staff reiterated that the pieces could not be touched, to which the musician withdrew it," the museum tweeted after the incident. "As is public knowledge, physical contact with archaeological goods is prohibited."

Bad Bunny is enjoying a temporary break following his Puerto Rican residency and ahead of his headlining spot at Super Bowl LX.

The artist addressed his controversial hiring during his Saturday Night Live hosting gig in October.

"I’m very excited to be doing the Super Bowl. I know that people all around the world who love my music are also happy," he said before switching to Spanish to praise the Latino community. "And if you didn’t understand what I just said, you have four months to learn," he teased.
