Pamela Anderson revealed in a new interview that she wishes she had a "better relationship"with her ex-husband Tommy Lee

She shared that she "tried to stay in contact" with Lee over the last few years, but she hasn't "spoken to him in a long time" and misses him

Anderson and Lee wed in 1995 and welcomed their sons Brandon and Dylan Jagger in 1996 and 1997, respectively, before divorcing in 1998

Pamela Anderson is breaking her silence about where she stands with ex-husband Tommy Lee.

The Naked Gun star, 58, revealed on SiriusXM’s Andy Cohen Live that while she hasn’t talked to Lee, 63, in a while, she is expecting to see him and his wife, Brittany Furlan Lee, 39, at an upcoming family event.

“My son Dylan's getting married soon, so I'll see them at the wedding,” she shared, adding that the celebration is scheduled for June 26.

Anderson further said that she has made attempts to reach out to Lee over the years, especially when their sons Brandon Thomas, 27, and Dylan Jagger, 26, visit him.

“They see him. I always ask about him. I tried to send him pickles. I try to stay in contact,” she shared, to which host Andy Cohen, 57, inquired, “He rejected your pickles?”

“My kids just said, 'Mom, just…,' I don't know what it is. I have to stay out of it, and I shouldn't really be saying anything, but I do wish them the best. I hope everything's okay,” she added.

Cohen then asked whether she “specifically” wishes the Mötley Crüe drummer “the best,” to which she responded, “Yes.” The host then asked if she believed she “might have a better communication” with Lee if he wasn’t with his wife, and Anderson replied, “I do.”

The actress went on to explain, “I just think he's a real romantic. He's very dedicated to his wife, and I think that he just doesn't want to cause any waves or maybe, I don't know, but I don't like it.”

“But I wish we had a better relationship,” she continued. “I haven't spoken to him in a long time. I miss him, and I — just with the kids getting married and having grandkids, we're always going to be connected in some way.”

Anderson’s recent comments come about three years after she shared during an appearance on The Howard Stern Show in 2023 that she and Lee "text here and there" as parents. She told PEOPLE that same year that they would also “check in with each other every once in a while.”

The Last Showgirl actress and Lee famously got married following a whirlwind romance in 1995. They welcomed their older son Brandon in 1996 and welcomed Dylan Jagger Lee the following year. The pair divorced in 1998.

In 2020, Anderson was widely reported to be married to Jon Peters for just 12 days, but she told The Hollywood Reporter's Awards Chatter podcast in December that the two never actually married. In January 2021, Anderson shared that she had married her bodyguard Dan Hayhurst, but a representative for the actress told PEOPLE by January 2022 that the pair had split.

As for Lee, he has been married to comedian Brittany Furlan since February 2019, two years after the pair met on the celebrity dating app Raya.
