Norwegian Cruise Line has officially pulled back the curtain on its newest masterpiece, Norwegian Luna. Following its successful European debut in Rome on March 10, the ship is currently on its inaugural transatlantic voyage toward Miami, where it will be christened on March 27.

As the newest evolution of NCL’s Prima Plus Class, the vessel is designed with a "more is more" philosophy—featuring more outdoor space, roomier accommodations, and several "first-at-sea" attractions.

The headline feature is undoubtedly the Aqua Slidecoaster, a hybrid between a waterslide and a rollercoaster that winds around the ship’s funnel. It currently holds the title for the longest and fastest slides at sea and was recently named "Best Water Park Attraction" by industry experts.

For families, the ship introduces the Luna Midway, an outdoor amusement zone with carnival games, and the Moon Climber, a multi-level obstacle course. On the entertainment front, guests can catch “Rocket Man: A Celebration of Elton John,” a high-octane tribute show featuring four grand pianos and archival footage of the legend himself.

Following its Miami arrival, Norwegian Luna will kick off a season of three- to seven-day Caribbean voyages. These itineraries include stops at NCL’s newly enhanced private island, Great Stirrup Cay, which now features a massive new pier and the adults-only Vibe Shore Club.

Whether you're there for the 180-degree ocean views in the Mandara Spa or the global flavors of the Indulge Food Hall, the Luna is clearly built to be the ultimate multigenerational getaway for 2026.
