The pair helped the Lakers score a 116-99 victory

During the Los Angeles Lakers game against the Brooklyn Nets on Friday, March 27, the pair participated in the league's first father-son assist.

Bronny, 21, scored a 3-pointer after a pass from LeBron, 41, as he joined his father in the second quarter of the game, according to the NBA.

“Both generations scored during their sequence together, with LeBron making a driving layup before exchanging passes on the next possession with Bronny, who hit his 3-pointer from a step behind the line,” said the sports organization.

Bronny and LeBron played together for four and a half minutes during the round. The Lakers eventually scored a 116-99 victory.

LeBron concluded the game with 14 points, eight assists and six rebounds, according to USA Today Sports.

Bronny, meanwhile, scored three points, per the outlet.

The historic team-up came after the Lakers returned from a successful road trip to play against the Nets.

LeBron and Bronny previously made NBA history as the first father and son to play together at an NBA game back in October 2024.

The pair played alongside each other at the time, as the Lakers went up against the Phoenix Suns in a preseason game at the Acrisure Arena in Riverside County, Calif.

The Lakers defeated the Suns with a final score of 114-118.

LeBron said after the game that it was "definitely a moment that I will never forget.”

“It’s pretty cool for the both of us, and especially for our family. For a father, it means everything,” the basketball star continued, per ABC News.

“For someone who didn’t have that growing up, to be able to have that influence on your kids and have that influence on your son, be able to have moments with your son — and the ultimate, to be able to work with your son — that’s one of the greatest things that a father could ever hope for or wish for," added LeBron.

Bronny — the oldest of three children LeBron shares with his wife, Savannah James —joined the Lakers in 2024 during the second NBA draft on a four-year contract with the team.

He previously played one shortened season at the University of Southern California (USC).
