American singer-songwriter John Mellencamp's music is part of the culture: his 50+ year career has spawned hits like "Jack and Diane," "Small Town" and "Pink Houses," and earned him a spot in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. This summer, Mellencamp will be heading out on tour and giving fans what they really want: a setlist full of his greatest hits. The Dancing Words Tour will feature most of his biggest singles and will travel across 19 American cities this July and August, including Los Angeles, Phoenix, Kansas City, and, of course, his home state of Indiana, where he'll play Indianapolis’ Ruoff Music Center on July 18.

When does John Mellencamp go on tour?
John Mellencamp's 19-date Dancing Words Tour will begin on July 10 at Grand Rapids, Michigan's Acrisure Amphitheater. He will perform at some of the country's most iconic venues including the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles and Northwell at Jones Beach Theater on Long Island, and will wrap up the tour on August 12 at the Shoreline Amphitheater in Mountain View, CA.

Presale access for John Mellencamp's Dancing Words Tour will be available for Citi cardmembers beginning Tuesday, January 20 at 10 a.m. local time until Thursday, January 22 at 10 p.m. local time. You can find out more about presale access on the Citi Entertainment site. There will also be an artist presale starting on Wednesday, January 21; if you're not a Citi cardholder, you can sign up on Mellencamp.com for access to that. General on sale ticketing begins Friday, January 23 at 10 a.m. local time through Ticketmaster.
