Love is in the air for Jennifer Aniston and Jim Curtis!**

The transformational life coach and hypnotherapist couldn’t help but blush when asked to share how he and the *Friends* actress began dating on Monday’s episode of the *Today *show*. ***

“The origin story?” Curtis asked. “We were just introduced by friends.”

But cohost Craig Melvin knew that there was more to their love story. “That’s it?” he pressed. **

“Yeah, that’s it!” Curtis replied. “We found out we had mutual friends and we started to just chat. And it took a long time, we chatted for a long time, and we became close.”

Melvin then teasingly dropped in a *Friends* reference by asking whether it was Joey or Ross who introduced the pair. Taking it in stride, Curtis simply quipped back, “All the *Friends* stars.”**

The *Book of Possibility *author also noted that he and Aniston had been seeing each other for “a long time” at this point. “Months now,” he added. “Almost close to a year.” **

Melvin, thankfully, proceeded to put Curtis out of his misery. “I’m not gonna put you on the spot anymore,” the host teased, “because you’re kind of blushing right now.”**

Curtis was very aware. “Yeah, I sure am,” he responded.

Curtis and Aniston first sparked romance rumors when they were spotted together in Mallorca, Spain, last July. Aniston later confirmed their relationship in a November Instagram post, which featured her hugging Curtis from behind. **

“Happy birthday my love,” she captioned the sweet snapshot. “Cherished.”**

A source later told PEOPLE that Aniston feels “really good” about her relationship with Curtis. “She's excited about this new year and what's ahead, especially with Jim by her side now,” they told the outlet. “Jen's always been fine on her own and comfortable being single, but her relationship with Jim is just different.”
