Say hello to Beyoncé, the billionaire.

Yesterday afternoon, Forbes reported that the musical superstar, haircare founder, whisky developer, and mom of three has officially reached billionaire status—making her only the fifth musician to do so, along with her husband, Jay-Z, as well as Taylor Swift, Rihanna, and Bruce Springsteen.

The business outlet noted that Beyoncé finally crossed the threshold thanks to her globe-spanning Cowboy Carter Tour, which grossed over $400 million and was recently named the highest-grossing concert tour of 2025. “Most of her personal wealth comes from her music, by controlling the rights to her enormously valuable catalog and earning a massive income from her global tours,” reporter Matt Craig wrote.

According to Forbes, Beyoncé brought in an estimated $148 million last year, before taxes, thanks to a mixture of her touring, her sponsorships with brands like Levi’s, and her extensive music catalog. This number positions her as the third highest-paid musician in the world.

Of course, she’s not done yet. For the past few years, Beyoncé has teased that her Renaissance (2022) and Cowboy Carter (2024) albums are actually part of a trilogy, indicating that there is still a third act yet to come, which many fans think could be arriving any day now.

With those first two acts alone, Queen Bey achieved nine-figure tours, a box office-topping documentary film, a Christmastime NFL halftime performance, and her first Grammy win for Album of the Year. So, trust that when the final act arrives, her new billionaire number will only go up.
