Davis's engagement news shocked many fans, who didn't realize she'd split from her first husband
Newly engaged HGTV star Leslie Davis is California dreaming.
The Unsellable Houses host shared a glimpse of her getaway with new fiancé Don Reidy and two of her sons on Instagram less than two weeks after revealing her engagement.
"Spent last weekend in the California sun, soaking up time with my boys and laughing our way through amusement parks," Davis, 42, captioned a carousel of images.
"We checked off all the tourist boxes from Krustyland at @unistudios to the Walk of Fame and Santa Monica Pier! We fit a lot in just a few short days 🎢⭐️⛱️."

Among the pictures were selfies with Reidy, exploring Universal Studios Hollywood, her sons Cash and Cole posing with wax figures and strolling down the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Davis mentioned in the comments that her son Kyler was not on the trip.

In another Instagram post, the home design pro showed off some quieter moments from her Cali trip. "Some of the beautiful places and spaces I got to explore while in California ☀️🪴🐚," she wrote.
The update included a shot of the pool, the ocean, scenic hotel views, and coffee in bed.

On Jan. 14, Davis announced that she had gotten engaged. “SURPRISE! Don popped the question during a snowy Leavenworth [Wash.] snowmobile ride, joined by all three of my boys, which made it even more perfect," she captioned an Instagram selfie of them in snow gear.
"Somewhere between sunup-to-sundown chaos and lots of laughs, I found my person. Don, you are my safe place, my teammate, and my favorite adventure buddy," Davis continued.

She added, "What started as a friendship during one of the wildest experiences of my life turned into true love. We were in it together then… and now we’re in it together forever."
Days later, following much speculation from fans about when Davis had gotten a divorce from her first husband, she wrote a blog post clarifying the timeline of the relationship. She also confirmed that she and her first husband, Jacob, who is the father of her three boys, had been divorced since 2022.
"Well, 1,000+ social media comments later, you all have a lot of questions. I have chosen to keep this part of my personal life private, a hard thing to do as someone with a show on HGTV," she began the post.
"Jacob and I will always share love for each other, just now in a new way, we have learned to become the best teammates, to lean on each other, to support each other’s new adventures, and always put our boys first."
"With lots of changes, our priority was to always protect our family, which is why I have kept this part of my life private," Davis concluded. "And seriously, who even announces a divorce anyway LOL!"

She also revealed that she and Reidy met while filming the fifth season of HGTV's Rock the Block, on which he worked as a carpenter, in Florida in 2023, she told PEOPLE in January.
They bonded over the shoot, dated long-distance for a year, and Reidy then made the move from Colorado to Davis's home, Snohomish, Wash.
