Hailee Steinfeld is getting trolled for a resurfaced 2016 photo that shows her supporting the Denver Broncos
Her husband Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills will face the No. 1 seed in a huge playoff game on Saturday
Steinfeld and Allen wed in May 2025 and announced in December that they're expecting their first child together
This is one 2016 throwback that Hailee Steinfeld likely wants to forget.
The actress, 29, is getting playfully trolled after a 2016 photo of Steinfeld supporting the Denver Broncos resurfaced online days before her husband, Josh Allen of the Buffalo Bills, plays the team in the divisional round of the NFL playoffs on Saturday, Jan. 17.
The Sinners star uploaded the photo of herself decked out in Broncos swag to her X account in February 2016, wearing an orange Denver jacket while she hit a dab at the Super Bowl. That year, the Peyton Manning-led Broncos defeated the Carolina Panthers 24-10 in the Big Game.

"HELL YEAH BRONCOS!!!!" she tweeted alongside the photo.
The photo resurfaced at an ironic time given her quarterback husband, also 29, will lead the Bills against the No. 1 seed Broncos in one of the biggest matchups of the season, as Buffalo continues its pursuit to win their first-ever Super Bowl title.

Football fans were quick to call out the Sinners star on the throwback post, poking fun at the rivalry between her husband's Bills and the Broncos she supported a decade ago.
"She rooting for her Broncos in her heart, but she repping Bills for her Hubby," tweeted one X user.
"HAILEE DELETE THIS NOW!!!," joked another user, who had a Bills-related photo in the profile pic.
"Ayeeee yooooo this is a crazy find!!! 😂😂," commented another.
"Well, this is awkward for Josh Allen," tweeted a fifth user.

The couple were first linked in May 2023, and made their relationship Instagram official in July 2024. They got engaged four months later, and quietly tied the knot in May 2025 in Santa Barbara, Calif.
In December, Steinfeld announced that she and Allen were expecting their first child in her Beau Society newsletter. She later posted the clip on Instagram sharing the exciting news, captioning it with a simple red heart.
In January, the actress put her baby bump on full display when she hit the red carpet glammed up in chic maternity style at the Golden Globes. Allen, who couldn't attend the show in person because he had a critical playoff game against the Jaguars the same night, hyped her up online.
The NFL star reposted a photo of Steinfeld at the event and added two simple emojis, "🤤😍," gushing over his wife.
