Gwyneth Paltrow is keeping it real when it comes to what it was really like filming Marty Supreme sex scenes with Timothée Chalamet.
Paltrow, 53, took part in a Q&A held in support of her latest project at the San Vicente Bungalows in Santa Monica, Calif., on Jan. 9. There, she opened up about the reality of filming intimate moments in front of the camera with costar Chalamet, 30.
"He was 27 or 28, and I was 50-whatever, and, I mean, it's weird," Paltrow told Demi Moore, who took part in a film screening and the following Q&A.
"And I [thought], 'Oh, if it's weird for me, then it's going to probably really weird for [him],' but actually, it was fine," she continued. "It wasn't that weird."
"It was a lot of sex scenes ... and I was sort of worried about it too, just having not done all that kind of thing in so long, but it was very comfortable, and it was fine," added Paltrow.

Collaborating with Chalamet for the Josh Safdie-directed film, Paltrow explained during the recent Q&A, was a positive experience overall.
"He's so easy to work with," she said of the recent Golden Globes and Critics Choice winner. "He's so brilliant and committed and comfortable and confident."

While she was comfortable with the sex scenes filmed for Marty Supreme, Paltrow did admit someone close to her was not — her son, Moses.
"Oh my God! My poor son," Paltrow told Moore, 63, during the Jan. 9 Q&A of her younger child, whom she shares with ex-husband Chris Martin.
"Can you imagine when he came to the premiere in L.A.? He wanted to die," she added of Moses.
Paltrow and Martin, 48, who are also parents to daughter Apple, 21, were married for more than 10 years before they famously announced they were "consciously uncoupling" in 2014. (Paltrow is now married to Brad Falchuk.)
Marty Supreme, also starring Odessa A'zion, Kevin O'Leary, Tyler Okonma, Abel Ferrara and Fran Drescher — a recent PEOPLE cover star — is in theaters now.
