In an exclusive interview with PEOPLE on Nov. 22, Flavor Flav revealed that he "didn't get an invite" to Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's wedding despite being "King Swiftie"
The rapper is a longtime fan of the bride-to-be, having earned himself the "King Swiftie" moniker from her fans
Flav says the couple still has his "blessings," and he'd happily still accept an invitation
Flavor Flav isn't on Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's wedding guest list — but he's still holding out hope for an invite.
While exclusively chatting with PEOPLE at the Formula 1 Heineken Las Vegas Grand Prix on Saturday, Nov. 22, the rapper, 66, revealed that he has yet to receive a wedding invitation from the "Cruel Summer" singer, 36, and the Kansas City Chiefs tight end, 36. However, as "King Swiftie," Flav notes he'll never have bad blood with the bride-to-be, and he'll happily accept a last-minute invitation from her.
"No, I didn't get an invite to the wedding. I ain't expect one. You know what I'm saying? The whole nine," Flav tells PEOPLE. "But they know they got my blessings and if she invites me, you dig? All right. I'm going. King Swiftie going to be at the wedding."

As a longtime fan of Swift, Flav has been titled "King Swiftie" by fellow fans. He admired Swift's music long before her met her at the iHeartRadio Awards in March 2023. The musicians reconnected at the Grammys in February 2024, and Flav was in the crowd more than once during Swift's Eras Tour that year — even getting a special shout-out from Swift herself at one show.
"I'm King Swiftie. I love the Swifties. Mad shout out to the Swifties, baby," Flav says.
Less than a month after Swift and Kelce announced their engagement, Flav told PEOPLE he was working on getting ordained just in case the couple needed a wedding officiant.
At the time, Flav shared his excitement for Swift's 12th studio album, The Life of a Showgirl, adding, "Not only that, I'm very happy for her too. You know what I'm saying? Not only that, but she's about to hopefully one day get married."
"And if she does, hopefully if I have my license in time, I want to be the one officiating the wedding," he continued at the 2025 Black Music Action Coalition (BMAC) Gala in Beverly Hills, Calif., on Sept. 18.

Speaking to PEOPLE in March after performing Swift's "Bad Blood" earlier that month on The Masked Singer, the "Shake Your Booty" rapper opened up about his friendship with Swift, and why he considers her to be "one of the most important artists of our time."
"I always go hard for Taylor Swift. The Swifties, they know how hard I go in for Taylor Swift," he said. "The Swifties gave me a brand new name called King Swiftie. So I'm King Swiftie. I'm king of all the Swifties, and Taylor, she knows that too. I love her. I love her work. She's one of the most important artists of our time. I don't know no other musical artists that can throw a concert, and it hits the Richter scale. She causes earthquakes."
