A Chili's Grill & Bar located right off an escalator dubbed "stairway to heaven" at Orlando International Airport is set to shut down permanently at the end of the year.
The Florida airport (MCO) announced the news in a Dec. 26 post on X eliciting disappointment and shock from customers.
"Chili's has been a longtime favorite for so many travelers who have taken the 'stairway to heaven'," MCO said in its post. "Over the years, you've shared plenty of queso & memories."
Noting the restaurant will permanently close on Dec. 31, MCO encouraged travelers to "visit one last time, raise a glass and toast this wonderful partnership."
