Elaine Hendrix takes PEOPLE behind the scenes of the Dancing with the Stars tour
The Parent Trap actress competed on season 34 of DWTS with pro Alan Bersten
Hendrix's leg of the tour runs through April 4, plus May 5 through May 13
Elaine Hendrix has officially embarked on her leg of the Dancing with the Stars tour, and she's bringing PEOPLE along for the journey.
The Parent Trap alum, 55, returned to her home state of Tennessee for her second show at the iconic Grand Ole Opry in Nashville on Wednesday, March 11, where she documented exciting behind-the-scenes moments.
After becoming a fan-favorite while competing on season 34 of DWTS, Elaine and her pro partner Alan Bersten landed in fifth place.
Her time on the show had its ups and downs — on Halloween Night she suffered a rib injury during rehearsal hours before she was set to take the stage and was unable to perform. But Elaine never failed to come back stronger.
"I had high expectations of myself and I blew them out of the water," she told PEOPLE in December. "To really believe in yourself when you have a dream … I gave it every ounce of my heart and soul, and it was worth it."
She is now bringing that energy to her stint on tour, which runs from March 10 through April 4, and May 5 through May 13.
From moving into the tour bus and reuniting with her DWTS family to extravagant, sparkly costumes, take a look at Elaine's photo diary from the Nashville stop.

Back in the chair with my hairstylist, Bo. I typically like to turn the batteries off a bit and just think about the dances.

Look who I found! Alan and I usually like to go over our dances backstage prior to the show so everything is top of mind. Though, at this point we are pretty in sync.

Last looks with Chelsea. Believe it or not, I have 10 wardrobe changes throughout the show. But Chelsea is always keeping me right on track.

This is us doing the hustle. It's super colorful and fun. This dance ends Act 1 and always gets the audience going.
