Chris Noth had a strong reaction to his former costar's recent award.

On Jan. 6, Sarah Jessica Parker was honored with the Golden Globes' Carol Burnett Award during the CBS and Paramount primetime special Golden Eve.

Three days later, on Jan. 9, Noth, 71, shared a photo of himself in the gym on Instagram. "F&@k new years - LETS GO!!!!" he wrote in the caption.

In the comments section, one fan wrote, "You mean fcuk sjp & her award right? lol." In response, the actor seemingly agreed with the sentiment by writing "right."

His engagement with the comment sent fans into a tizzy. "WHAT DID I MISS SOMETHING 😭😭😭😭," one wrote, while another posted, "LMFAOOOO WOAH?????😭."

Some fans were defensive of Parker, 60, though. "He’s just bitter that they [wrote] him off the show," a user wrote.

Noth appeared in just one episode of the Sex and the City revival And Just Like That... In a surprise twist, his character, Mr. Big, died in the premiere episode.

He was originally slated to make a return in the season 1 finale in a scene with Parker's Carrie Bradshaw, but the scene was cut after he faced multiple allegations of sexual assault. TV Line reported at the time that while Noth and Parker had filmed scenes together in Paris for the episode, the footage would "not make it to air."

Noth, who has been married to Tara Wilson since 2012, denied the allegations from two women that he raped them, calling the claims "categorically false." He claimed the "encounters were consensual."

"These stories could've been from 30 years ago or 30 days ago — no always means no — that is a line I did not cross. It's difficult not to question the timing of these stories coming out. I don't know for certain why they are surfacing now, but I do know this: I did not assault these women," Noth said.

The two women's allegations were published by The Hollywood Reporter, with one woman claiming she met Noth when she was 22 in 2004, while the other met him in 2015 when she was 25.

A third woman then came forward and told the Daily Beast that Noth had sexually assaulted her in 2010 when she was 18, but he again denied the allegations.

"The story is a complete fabrication, and the alleged accounts detailed throughout read like a piece of bad fiction," a rep for Noth said. "As Chris stated yesterday, he has and would never cross that line."

Parker and her costars, Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis, released a statement following the allegations and said they were "deeply saddened to hear" them. "We support the women who have come forward and shared their painful experiences. We know it must be a very difficult thing to do and we commend them for it," they continued.

Noth broke his silence on the allegations in 2023, telling USA Today that he "strayed on my wife, and it's devastating to her and not a very pretty picture." But then asserted that "what it isn't is a crime."

He continued to deny the allegations and stood by his initial statements, but he did elaborate on his infidelity. "You give yourself the same excuses that many men do; it's just a little side dance, and it's fun," he said.

"You're not hurting anybody. No one's going to know about this, you know, and sex is just enjoyable. And suddenly, a lot of people want to have sex with you. It's like, 'Well, I'm not going to get this chance again,' " Noth continued.
