Amelia Gray opened up about a breast augmentation gone wrong when speaking with Variety in January 2026
The model recalled "medical emergency surgery" she underwent as a result of the boob job mishap
She also listed other cosmetic surgeries and treatments she's had done and debunked one about her lips
Amelia Gray got transparent about her cosmetic procedures.
The 24-year-old model, who is the daughter of Lisa Rinna and Harry Hamlin, opened up to Variety in a candid conversation about a scary medical incident that required emergency surgery after getting breast implants.
Gray revealed that she had a medically necessary breast reduction to prevent a case of sepsis from an infection caused by a nipple ring, but wound up getting breast implants later during a procedure that unfortunately went wrong.

"I was dating somebody who was older than me when I was younger, and I sort of allowed his beauty perception to affect my choices," she told the outlet. "I decided to get another breast augmentation because I wasn’t necessarily happy with the scarring that I was left with from the reduction."
She shared, "I woke up in a state that I didn’t agree to. We can just say that."
The boob job was done so poorly that she had to go under the knife again.

"That also turned into a medical emergency surgery because my breasts literally could not handle what were put in me," she recalled. "It got to the point where I couldn’t even pump soap because the implants were pushing on the nerves."
She added, "I ended up having to get a 14-hour reconstruction surgery."
Elsewhere in her interview, Amelia — who's been open about having a nose job as well — debunked rumors that she uses lip filler.
"I’ve always had these lips," she shared, confirming that she's never used fillers. "I’m doing this thing right now called SkinVive, which is a moisturizer injection, not a filler."

She previously opened up about having to get breast reduction surgery at 16 during an episode of the Skinny Confidential Him and Her podcast after a strep infection and mastitis in her left breast caused it to swell — and that the swelling remained even after she was healthy again.
The model said the infection started when she was at Coachella one year and her nipple piercing got caught on something, causing a small wound.
"When I eat eggs, I either get strep throat, or I get strep in parts of my body," she said, adding that she had been eating a lot of eggs for breakfast while at the festival, which led to strep being present in her body.

The infection went to her breast because of the injury from the piercing.
"I had a 104 degree fever... my left boob was out to here," she said. "I was 16 and had mastitis, whatever the heck that is." Mastitis is the inflammation of breast tissue and most commonly occurs in women who are breastfeeding.
"It was the worst thing I've ever been through," she shared.
